Photocall & digital campaign #Ellesbougentpourle8mars
In partnership with the Elles bougent association
Just like every year, we participated in the 8 March digital campaign run by Elles bougent, who we are partnering with this year. On Friday 8 March, we organised a
photocall at the school and invited all students and staff to have their photo taken.
It was an opportunity for ESIEE Paris to show our commitment and support for International Women’s Rights Day.

Sharing 5 testimonies on the theme of “Women Engineers”
Following the round table “Et Si Ingénieur s’Ecrivait avec un E…”, which took place on Thursday 23 November 2023 at ESIEE, four alumni and one student agreed to share their experiences on video.
Is engineering for geeks? Is having women on the team a plus? Is it necessary to encourage women to take on responsibilities within companies? Is it still necessary to fight the pay gap? Is it necessary to provide gender equality training in schools and companies?...

“Girls can code!” traineeship
Organised by the Prologin association
On 16 and 17 March, the school hosted the Prologin association, who organised a free "Girls can code" traineeship. This IT course, which required no prior experience, was aimed at secondary school girls. Over a weekend, they learned the basics of Python programming and created a small project.
This initiative is supported by the French Ministry for Equality between Women and Men and the Fight against Discrimination.
We took part in the 1st edition of THE EQUITY WEEK, organised by the Elles bougent association.
From 4 to 7 March, all the school’s pupils and staff were asked to take part in a quiz designed to honour female figures. This event was organised with the help of the HERA club, the school’s gender equality club.
On 8 March, 3 prizes were awarded to the winners of the quiz.
