Jour des Projets 100% virtuel

Project Day is an annual showcase for the school's expertise, this year, on the 2nd July, ESIEE Paris gave the general public the opportunity to discover the projects carried out by students via a virtual platform.

Technological projects from various sectors such as health, embedded systems, information technology, biotechnology, safety, the environment, etc. were presented on the 15th edition of Project Day.

The students held a stand whereby they presented their project through a video that they created. They interacted with visitors via chat and video. This platform is also available in French.

A panel composed of teacher, researchers and companies selected the best projects which were awarded a prize at the end of the exhibition.

  • Innovation Award by Texas Instruments (TI)
  • Best Technical Project Award
  • Health - Environment - Disability’ Award

Internet users were also able to vote for the "Coup de Coeur du Public" prize.

A Special Mention "TI Digital Marketing" was awarded by Texas Instruments (TI), sponsor of Project Day 2020. Texas Instruments (TI), AKKA and AA-ESIEE were the partners of the "Project Day" 2020.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT THE HEART OF THIS EVENT

Following the COVID-19 crisis, it was not possible for students to prepare on time, Coaching is postponed to 2021.

For 9 years, ESIEE Paris has encouraged students to go further in their project by setting up "Entrepreneurship & Innovation Coaching". Accompanied by key players in business creation and development, they then benefit from 3 weeks of coaching. Everything is done to instil in them the spirit of business creation, advise them and guide their projects in the direction of valorisation.

Each year, a jury made up of investors, research facilitators, companies and institutions ... judges projects on 4 criteria: motivation, project potential, presentation and finally the quality of the business plan. The "Entrepreneurship & Innovation" Prize is then awarded to two student project leaders at the end of an Elevator-pitch. This award ceremony will take place after the coaching period.
