RESEARCH SPRINGBOARD’ DAY : ESIEE PARIS STUDENTS’ RESEARCH PROJECT PRESENTATIONS

As part of introducing research to the students’ studies, on Thursday 23rd September ESIEE Paris organised the « Research springboard » day.

WHAT IS THE ‘RESEARCH SPRINGBOARD’ ?

It is a course financed by ‘I-SITE FUTURE’ that offers ESIEE Paris students currently in their 2nd year of engineering studies, the chance to start learning about research through the production of a research project, or by carrying out a 3 month long internship in a laboratory.

Various research projects are proposed by researchers from Gustave Eiffel University, that favour the meeting between engineering students motivated by research and laboratories of excellence in the ‘Cité Descartes’. In 2020, 27 subjects were presented.

Methodological as well as professional support is offered, in particular through tutors. Interships are a major asset for students’ professional paths. Each student receives a mobility grant which allows them to carry out the internship internationally.
