This International Master of Electronics, entirely taught in English, trains young scientists and engineers with a high technical added value in the field of electrical engineering toward a broad range of topics. Two options are proposed: Micro and nano technologies, Wireless communications.

Students build their own track among covered topics which are: integrated circuits, communications systems, photonics, RF and microwave, sensors, MEMS, microfluidics, nanomaterials, biomedical engineering, etc.

The first year consists of common core courses focusing on fundamental scientific and technical aspects and tools. The second year consists of specialised courses that students select accordingly to their track in one of the two main options (Wireless communications, Micro- and Nano- Systems)

The applied hands-on nature of the second year will provide students with qualifications very sought-after in both the current industrial environment, and in academic research. Entrepreneurship and innovation issues, as well French culture and language are also considered. Further to this master, students may undertake a PhD, or begin an engineering career.

These degrees enable graduates to pursue doctoral studies at ESIEE Paris, or in another university. This is a full-time 2 year programme.

Our Master programmes are internationally recognized through the European Higher Education System (The Bologna Process). These degrees enable graduates to pursue doctoral studies at ESIEE Paris - University Paris-Est or at any other university worldwide.

Industrial experience

The Master programme includes two internship/project periods (3months and 6 months).

For the first year of the Master's programme the students have the opportunity to do a three-month internship.

For the second year the six-month Master project can be carried out in a research lab or in the framework of an internship within a company under the guidance of a Professor of the school.

ESIEE Paris career'office provides a support to students in their search of an internship or a first job in France or abroad.
