The Laboratory of Electronics, Communication systems and Microsystems (ESYCOM), which ESIEE is joint-custodian of, has just been granted, by the CNRS, the status of an Evolving Research Creation (FRE), on the 1st January 2019, with the objective of becoming a Mixed Unit of Research (UMR) of the CNRS in 2020.
The FRE is a label attributed by the CRNS. The status of FRE formalizes all transitory situations to facilitate the creation, transformation or closure of a research unit.
The Laboratory of Electronics, Communication systems and Microsystems, is a multi-establishment unit that brings together teacher-researchers from these three universities: Université de Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (UPEM), l'école d’ingénieur ESIEE-Paris and the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (le CNAM).
ESYCOM possesses skills recognized in various areas (communication system engineering, sensors and microsystems), skills combined within the laboratory project: “Communication systems and sensors for the city, the environment and the person”
ESYCOM is attached to two Doctoral schools of the Université Paris-Est: Mathematics and the Science and Technology of Information and Communication (MSTIC) and Science, Engineering and Environment (SIE).
Congratulations to all the teacher-researchers of the laboratory for this recognition from the CRNS!
