Angiography

This angiography (radiography of blood vessels) is from the image database of the GDR 134 (see "Analyse d'images : filtrage et segmentation", J.-Ph. Cocquerez et S. Philipp, Ed. Masson, 1995). It is a very noisy image, thus very difficult to segment. Nevertheless, the human eye distinguishes some very pale and thin vessels.	We applied a segmentation scheme based on an attribute opening and a topological grayscale watershed transformation. Two parameters have been used: a contrast parameter, which allows to filter more or less details, and an area parameter, necessary to eliminate impulse noise.
