Accommodation

Various types of housing are available in and around the Cité Descartes campus. Housing facilities for ESIEE students include:

  • Nearby student halls of residence
  • Rooms in private homes
  • A limited number of studios and apartments are available to share with other students

Renting in ESIEE Paris Residences

The student residences are close to ESIEE Paris (5 min on foot). You can live alone in a studio or share an apartment with an other student.:

"Studio - main room with a kitchenette (kitchen sink, hot plates, refrigerator, storage space) and an independent shower-room (washbasin, shower, wc)"

In ESIEE Paris residences, including the housing benefit, the total monthly cost is approximatively between 400€ and 600€ (depending of the availability of the accommodation)

Renting a private home

You may be able to rent a room in a private home. This is a good way to improve your French, especially at the beginning of your stay, and to discover the French way of life.

Grants

ESIEE Paris is not able to offer grants to foreign students.

However, other grants for foreign Masters students exist, for example:

  • Eiffel Grants: these are excellence grants for foreign students wishing to study for a Masters Degree. Your current establishment will provide you with more information
  • French Government Grants: these grants are allocated by the French Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs for both academic studies and internships in France. They are awarded by the Cultural Cooperation Departments of French Embassies and Consulates General overseas. For more information, contact the department in your country of residence
  • Paris Region foreign Masters students' grants

Requirements

To have studied in one of the following countries or cities the year prior to the grant request:

Countries: South Africa, Brazil, Chile, India, RussiaCities: Antananarivo (Madagascar), Beirut (Lebanon), Budapest (Hungary), Greater Casablanca Region (Morocco), Dakar (Senegal), Hanoi (Vietnam), Keyes Region (Mali), Warsaw (Poland), Montreal (Canada), Nouakchott (Mauritania)

Hold the nationality of the country of residence

Grant total: €10,100/year for one or two years

Restaurant

ESIEE Paris cafeteria provides reasonably priced meals for lunch and dinner on weekdays. Your student ID gives you access to different university restaurants around ESIEE and to more than 400 university restaurants throughout France.
