Energy systems for sustainable cities

Our effort is focused on proposing efficient energy solutions for future sustainable city. To do this, we keep a multi-scale vision: from component enhancement to system optimization, until building and neighborhood integration.

At system level, we intensify heat and mass transfer to obtain highly efficient installations such as compact heat exchanger in HVAC systems. Both numerical analyses and laboratory pilots are our approaches.

Up to building/district scale, our aim is to achieve the best overall efficiency through system integration and management. Annual dynamic simulation coupled with energy or exergy analysis, provides multi-criteria optimized solution.
