Research in response to major economic and social issues

Innovation is central to ESIEE Paris. The research programmes initiated by the institution's two schools reaffirm its commitment to technological advancement.

Research within ESIEE Paris focuses on information and communication science and technology (ICST) and the management of technological innovation.

In addition to sustainable development applications, research contributes to every area of modern technology, including health.

Research is an essential tool to consolidate the positioning of ESIEE Paris and recognition of its status as a centre of excellence in its areas of specialisation.

Research programmes are devised by the departments within the institution. They are discussed and coordinated by a research steering committee.

General research orientations are approved by the Orientation and Development Board.

Lecturers participating in research programmes are individually assessed every three years. This evaluation is coordinated by the Research Steering Committee and is based on the written opinion of two external assessors. Teams are assessed as part of the official national assessment of recognised research teams.
