The MSc MoTIS Mentorship Program
This programme, developed by a group of MoTIS students kicked off recently (19/03/12). Each participating student is paired off with a mentor, who is a professional with wide experience in fields associated with the MSc MoTIS - project management, software services, cloud computing, IT architecture, change management etc. Together mentor and mentee have regular, informal meetings to discuss issues of mutual interest and concern.
For the mentee (student) this is an excellent opportunity to get advice and guidance on career planning, personal and professional development, as well as getting direct insight into the professional world. For the mentor it is an opportunity for knowledge sharing and can enhance their coaching and leadership skills.
Therefore, we see it as a win-win situation for all concerned.
